TV Drama Working Group
Formed in 2018, the TV Drama Committee seeks to address areas of concern that apply to directors and director’s working in this area and to promote the SDGI’s Code of Fair Practice for Directors so that members working on TV shows can work with fair creative and economic rights.
To increase supports and optimum conditions for directors working in TV drama.
To increase opportunities for directors to develop their own TV drama projects.
Support partners in finding sustainable Irish broadcasting funding model and establish Irish TV Levy fund.
The TV Drama Committee is Chaired from Board Member Ruth Meehan. We are actively seeking members to lead a working group on TV drama for directors for meetings 3 times per year. If you have concerns about an issue as a TV drama director please contact the TV Drama Committee of SDGI.
