The goal of the Documentary Alliance of SDGI  is to provide recommendations regarding creative and economic rights and support the contractual and legal protections for documentary filmmakers. The Committee also coordinates events and projects that support that mission.

Raise the profile of Irish documentary directors both Nationally and Internationally

To increase supports for Documentary Directors in particular with funders and broadcasters. 

To work with partners to create a bespoke training programme for Documentary Directors
