Foras na Gaeilge Screen Directors Guild of Ireland Award is a recognition award for outstanding contribution made by a director with work in the Irish language. This encourages and congratulates directors for feature films, documentaries, dramas short films both in animation and live action that have been made in the Irish language. Each year a director an independent jury select a director to receive an award of €3,000, presented at the Annual Meeting of Directors.
