Vinny Murphy has worked as a Writer, Director, Actor and Composer for Film, Television and Theatre.

After working as a musician for four years, he joined City Workshop, where he also started acting and has since acted in more than forty films and television programs. His extensive screen acting teaching has led him to use improvisation techniques, developed over the years, in his films.

He has been involved in a huge variety of creative projects including directing ‘The Percussion Orchestra’ whose membership ran between 6 and 40 people.

He has directed theatre, street theatre, documentary, ads, corporates, educational, films made in communities, schools, colleges, rehabilitation centers, prisons and an inter-active detective show!

He has also worked on many films in various advisory capacities.
