Sinéad Walsh is a filmmaker with 20 years of experience telling bold, visually rich stories. As the founder of Outcam Digital Ltd (est. 2002), she has worked on a diverse range of projects—from accessibility-driven shorts for Irish Rail and Dublin Bus to her debut feature documentary, A Visual Storm. This film explores the postwar journey of avant-garde Italian artist Aurelio Caminati, tracing his deep connection to nature and his unwavering artistic vision across Europe and Ireland.
A graduate of Trinity College Dublin (1994) with a degree in English and Art History, Sinéad first made waves with her award-winning visual poem, The Pot Plant. She later earned an MA in Digital Media Management from INA, Paris (2002), blending her love of storytelling with cutting-edge digital innovation.
Beyond filmmaking, Sinéad has dedicated herself to education, serving as an Assistant Lecturer in Film and Media at the University of Munster, working in primary education, and supporting children with special needs. Her passion for creative learning led to projects like The Grow Show, where she helped young minds document their world.
She also acted as a Non-Executive Director at the National Transport Authority of Ireland (2015–2020), championing accessibility and sustainable transport. Whether behind the camera or in the community, Sinead’s work is driven by a deep commitment to artistic innovation, social change, and environmental care.
