Simon is an award-winning director known for his work across the drama, comedy and multi-camera productions in the US, UK & Ireland. With over twenty five years experience, Simon works on an ongoing basis for many international productions.

Currently, Simon is creative producer on comedy animation projects in the US with Bento Box / Fox Entertainment, most recently he has worked on Season 3 of Paradise PD,  Season 1 of S.M.A.S.H. and Season 1 of Farzar, which airs on Netflix this summer.
Also he was Creative Producer on 6 x short films, for Seriously Entertainment, based on the Best Fiends games and Characters.

Simon directed, The South Westerlies, for AcornTV/RTE/ZDF/N2.  His drama reel ranges from BBC’s Father Brown (Mark Williams & Sorcha Cusack)  to RTE’s Nowhere Fast (Alison Spittle/ Cathy Belton) to  UKTV’s Bull  (Matt Lucas/ Maureen Lipman / Robert Lindsay).  Along with 100’s of hours of UK Soap and continuing drama.

Some of Simon’s comedy work continues with BBC2’s sketch show Watson & Oliver (Hugo Speer / Adrian Scarborough / Felicity Montagu ), STARZ US Bronx Bunny Show (Mark Hamill / Howie Mandel / Richard Schiff) and BBC’s multi award winning factual-comedy show Horrible Histories (Ronan Atkinson/ Ben Miller/ Simon Farnaby / Kevin Eldon).

His children’s tv works has included Moon and Me (NBC / BBC), Furchester Hotel  (Sesame St / Cbeebies), Wildwoods (Hulu / ITV) and ROY (RTE/CBBC).

Simon has also directed numerous music concerts, live events and short films such as DUKs Mixture, RTE/ IrishFilm Boards Mebollox and Tiger Aspect / BBC3 Dead Air.UNSCRIPTED BIO;
Simon’s unscripted work encompasses, world lead formats, producing original concepts and fact-ent shows. Projects ranging from quiz (Mastermind), game shows (Family Fortune), chat show (The Late Late Show)  to large scale live music events (Jnr. Eurovision song contest), live festivals, (St Patricks day) comedy stand-up (The Lounge) and prank show (Off Their Rockers)  to Fact-Ent documentaries (U2’s New York Tumble).Simon has worked on a huge array of programming throughout his career, and was co-founder of ShinAwiL Productions.  To date he has achieved many awards including, several IFTA wins,  BAFTA nominations and an EMMY win to name a few.
