Pauric Brennan is a film director based in Laois. His first feature documentary, The Crafty Irish, was completed during the pandemic and he also directed his first narrative feature in 2020, Don’t Sell Me a Dog. Both are currently available on several VOD platforms.Pauric has written and directed several short films that were featured in festivals around the world. His sci-fi short, The Rosen Bridge, played at the 40th Boston Sci-fi festival and was a runner up in the Borgus Films Hitchcock Competition. He has been commissioned to direct several videos for writers in the past including poet, Derek Coyle’s collaboration with composer Grainne Mulvey for his poem The Shoulder from the collection ‘Reading John Ashbury in Costa Coffee Carlow’. He was also a writer on Ferdia MacAnna’s feature, ‘All About Eva’.He has worked on short films and as a writer and script reader for Babyjane Productions.He is currently in development on a new feature film ‘The Everywhere Man’ and is in pre-production on his new film ‘Am Fear Liath’ based on a Scottish legend. He also has ‘The Crafty Irish On Tour’, a five part mini-documentary series in post-production.
