Pauric Brennan is an accomplished director with experience in both stage and screen and is a proud member of the Screen Directors Guild of Ireland (SDGI). Over the past several years, he has directed two feature-length films. His debut feature, Don’t Sell Me A Dog, written by Mark Hampton, is currently available on multiple VOD platforms, including Apple TV, Tubi, and Plex. His most recent film, Am Fear Liath (2024), co-written with Hampton, earned critical acclaim on the festival circuit, winning several awards, including Best Feature. The film is now streaming on platforms such as Prime Video, Plex, and Tubi. Beyond narrative filmmaking, Pauric has also made a mark in documentary filmmaking. His feature documentary The Crafty Irish delves into Ireland’s independent brewing industry and has been screened internationally. He later revisited the subject with The Crafty Irish on Tour, a four-part mini-series that expands on the original film’s themes. This series is also available on platforms such as Prime Video and Tubi. His latest documentary, Dognapped, investigates the growing issue of pet theft across Ireland and is currently in post-production. Looking ahead, Pauric is developing The Everywhere Man, the feature-length adaptation of his sci-fi short The Rosen Bridge. The film is currently in the financing stage, with production scheduled to begin in late 2025.
