Niall joined the industry as an assistant script editor on Fox Network’s ‘Mystic Knights of Tir na N-Og’ and their feature film ‘Saint Patrick, an Irish Legend’. He wrote and directed the short films ‘The Edge of Defeat’ and ‘Summit’ which won numerous awards on the European festival circuit. Music promos directed include ‘Wired to the Moon’ and ‘Death of a DJ’ by The Revs. ‘Death of a DJ’ was nominated for Best Video at the Irish Meteor Music Awards.

Niall was the ‘Technical Assistant to the Director’, Antoine Fuqua, on Jerry Bruckheimer’s ‘King Arthur’.

His first feature film ‘Small Engine Repair’, staring Iain Glen and Steven Mackintosh, won multiple awards including Best Film at the Galway Film Fleadh, the Nashville Film Festival, the Boston Film Festival as well as Best Newcomer at 2007 Irish Film and Television awards.

His latest feature film ‘Gold’, starring James Nesbitt, Maisie Williams and David Wilmot, will be released theatrically in October 2014. He has numerous projects in development including ‘RPG’ which is being produced by Subotica Entertainment in Dublin.
