Director NEAL BOYLE is a documentary filmmaker and DOP.

Over the past two decades he has shot, produced and directed TV feature documentary and series around the world for TG4, RTÉ and BBC Northern Ireland. Some of Neal’s recent Director credits include Celtic Torc nominated Son of Kerry, Son of Sam about the Kerry NYPD cop who led the manhunt to catch the Son of Sam serial killer. [Celtic Film Festival] ‘Tunnel Tigers Thír Chonaill/Donegal’s Tunnel Tigers’ a film that traces the legendary Donegal men who tunnelled hard rock in the mines and hydro-schemes of Scotland and England, first broadcast on TG4. In 2023 he produced and directed  ‘Rún the Boinne/Secret of the Boyne’ (2022) which revealed evidence of a second chamber at Newgrange. He is currently in production on a second series of the IWR Media farming and biodiversity documentary series Caomhnóirí na Talún/Guardians of the Land. The first season was broadcast in 2024 on TG4.

Neal studied art at the National College of Art and Design and is a film graduate of IADT. Neal is a co-founder and Director of IWR Media.
