Janna is an award winning filmmaker with 10 years experience working in Film & TV in Ireland, UK & Germany. She has a unique and multidisciplinary vision through having worked in photography, theater and dance before finding her love of film. This set of skills allows her to easily move through genres and styles. She has worked on Art Installations, Music Videos, Short Films, and promotional films for Ireland’s largest music festivals. Janna is also a multi-camera director on RTÉ’s longest-running TV series Fair City and BBC’s EastEnders.

Janna has 5 short films under her belt. Her Screen Ireland short, Shadow, premiered at the Galway Film Fleadh 2022. In 2023 it won the Special Mention Award at DIFF and Best Cinematography at FastNet Film Festival. Her first feature and TV Show are currently in development with Screen Ireland. Janna was part of Torino Series Lab in 2024 alongside Co – Creator and writer Hiram Harrington and Producer Maggie Ryan with their project Goodnight Girl.
