Ira Elshansky is an animation director and storyboard artist with extensive experience in animation production. She has led and managed large creative teams, working as a director, storyboard artist, and animatic director on numerous projects. Alongside her directing work, she has been deeply involved in story development and writing — developing original scripts, leading writers’ rooms, and creating multiple synopses and story concepts.

She has collaborated with established animation studios and companies, including Souzmultfilm, Riki Group, Blaster, Papaton, and SBFM — creating original animated content across different formats: from author-driven short films to advertising, explainers, animated series, and animation for cinema. Her work spans a wide range of techniques, including 2D, 3D, and stop-motion.

Ira’s work has received international recognition and awards. Her projects have been presented and pitched at major industry events, including Annecy / MIFA and APD.
