Ingrid Serban is a musician and filmmaker who began her film journey with an iPhone 4, a few friends and an idea.

Four years later, her work is featured in The Los Angeles Times, The Chicago Tribune, The Hollywood Reporter, and Egyptian Streets.  Ingrid has been a filmmaker in residence at San Francisco FilmhouseX, served as a Board Member for the Tallgrass Film Festival, has been selected as a finalist in the Dublin International Screenwriter’s Festival in 2024, and is a member of the Screen Director’s Guild of Ireland.

She has written and directed several award-winning short films, a feature documentary, “Free Trip to Egypt,” 2019 premiering in Los Angeles and New York City followed by a 500-theatre release across the USA, with a second feature documentary in post production, “Strigoi: the Real Vampires of Transylvania.”

Ingrid has composed and performed the scores for her short films and is in the process of releasing her first studio album of original songs.
