I’m a writer & director hailing from Artane, which is located on Dublin’s north side. After watching films in GMIT and IADT in Ireland, and painting at Central Saint Martins in London, I carved out a career as a commercials director for some big brands, picking up a couple of YDA nominations and industry awards along the way before transitioning to film with my first feature, Dracula Untold, for Universal Pictures, which managed to gross $240 million at the word-wide box office, sat at number one in thirty two countries and won the Saturn Award for Best Horror in 2014 – which is bizarre given the film is a fantasy/action adventure.
