Fiona Ashe is an award-winning Irish director who creates social issue dramas which have significance for people worldwide.  She knows that a great story – told in a visually compelling way – will resonate with viewers all over the world.

Professional Qualifications

  •  Diploma in Advanced Film Directing, New York Film Academy.
  •  Graduate of The Professional Screenwriting Series, ScreenwritingU, Los Angeles.


Fiona has been trained in directing actors by Mark W. Travis and has taken masterclasses under the tuition of Wim Wenders, Anthony Minghella, Mike Figgis, Stephen Frears, Spike Lee, Stephen Daldry, Mike Leigh, Stanley Tucci, Robert Towne, Paul Schrader, Bruce Block and Lance Weiler.


Fiona has extensive experience of directing and producing television programmes.
