Fiona Ashe is an award-winning Irish director and journalist who creates social issue dramas and thrillers with a Film Noir influence.  With these socially-impactful films, she aims to bring awareness to important global issues to generate discussion and action. She is currently in development on her debut feature film ‘Beneath The Surface’.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  •  Diploma in Advanced Film Directing, New York Film Academy.
  •  Graduate of The Professional Screenwriting Series, ScreenwritingU, Los Angeles.

MASTERCLASSES

Fiona has been trained in directing actors by Mark W. Travis and has taken masterclasses under the tuition of Wim Wenders, Anthony Minghella, Mike Figgis, Stephen Frears, Spike Lee, Stephen Daldry, Mike Leigh, Stanley Tucci, Robert Towne, Paul Schrader, Bruce Block and Lance Weiler.
