In 1994, at the age of 21, Darragh established Brown Bag Films with Cathal Gaffney and wrote and directed their first TV Series, Peig, for RTÉ.

Darragh produced Give Up Yer Aul Sins which was nominated for an Oscar at the 74th Academy Awards in 2002 and went on to direct six new episodes in the series.

Darragh also directed the animation for Drew Carey’s Green Screen Show, airing on primetime television on the WB Network in the USA, as well as all 52 episodes of I’m an Animal, which has sold to more than 120 countries. In 2006, he supervised and directed the animation for Ben Greg of Partizan on the music promo for Oasis’ Masterplan.
