Originally from Dublin, Ronan and Rob Burke grew up in the United States, Australia and Sweden.

While they have collaborated on many crazy ideas since childhood, the short film JELLYBABY was their first as co-directors and proved to be a great success. Screening at over 60 film festivals worldwide, the film picked up numerous awards.

In 2008 Ronan and Rob made their television debut with AISLING’S DIARY, the first teen drama commissioned by RTÉ Young People’s. They followed up with RUNNERS, which won Best Short Film at the 2010 Irish Film & Television Awards.

More recently Ronan and Rob directed episodes of the Emmy Award winning season of the Netflix series FREE REIN, and many cornerstone episodes of gritty police drama RED ROCK for Element Pictures.  In 2014 they made their feature film debut with STANDBY, a romantic comedy starring Brian Gleeson and Jessica Paré. They released a second feature in 2018, DAMO AND IVOR: THE MOVIE.

In 2018/2019 they directed season 2 & 3 of the global hit series FIND ME IN PARIS, which is produced by Cottonwood Media for ZDF / Disney France and Hulu. Currently they are in post-production on HARRY WILD, a 8 part murder mystery series starring Jane Seymour.
