Mark Smyth is a multi award winning writer/director with a love for collaboration, visual storytelling and the element of surprise. Mark focuses on blending the magic of life with heartfelt realism through cinematic genre stories with diverse, empathetic and misunderstood characters who are compelled to explore their innermost desires and fears against a backdrop of colourful and imaginative worlds.
Mark’s work has screened at film festivals across the globe, scooping numerous awards and nominations along the way. His films have been distributed and licensed globally to several international broadcast and digital platforms including HBO, AerLingus and RTÉ.
Mark is currently in development on his debut feature sci/fi, mystery film “Will It Be a Kind God?”.
