I’m a writer, director and producer specialising in scripted comedy and drama. I’ve directed, co-written and produced 4 Series of sitcom ‘Bridget & Eamon’ for RTÉ—the first ever RTÉ scripted comedy Series to be sold internationally (to UKTV GOLD, Amazon Prime US and Hulu). I won two Irish Film and Television Academy awards for the show—Best Director and Best Comedy.

Most recently I produced and directed the ‘The Paddy Raff Show’ comedy sketch Series for BBC 1 NI and was Series Director on the hit RTÉ comedy-factual Series ‘The 2 Johnnies Take On…’

I worked on eight Series of RTÉ 2’s flagship comedy show ‘Republic of Telly’, writing, directing and editing the show’s comedy sketches, many of which have gone viral with tens of millions of views online. Before moving up to the role of Series Producer and Head Writer where I increased ratings 50% year on year.

I’ve written and directed several successful short films including ‘Tufty’ which has screened on Irish and French national TV and in many international film festivals including Clermont-Ferrand, Sitges Horror Festival, Santiago De Compostela and Berlin.

I’ve won numerous awards including Best New Director Award at Kinsale Sharks (2009), Best Direction Award at Fastnet Film Festival (2010) and was co-winner of the Oscar Moore Award for New European Screenwriting—Europe’s largest screenplay award (2002) and the Variety Pitch me award at Cannes.
