Imogen Murphy is a film and television director based in Dublin, Ireland. Imogen’s television drama work has been nominated for numerous awards including IFTA and RTS awards. She was lead director and co-story writer on period murder mystery Series ‘Dead Still’, which was nominated in 2021 for a Royal Television Society Drama award as well as for seven Irish Film & Television Academy awards, including Best Drama, Best Script and Best Director.
Previously she directed all six episodes of Season 2 of ‘Can’t Cope won’t Cope’. She also directed blocks of continuing Series ‘Red Rock’ and ‘Hollyoaks’.
Film work has seen Imogen nominated for Royal Television Society and Irish Film & Television Academy awards, as well as winning numerous international short film awards.
Imogen is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin, and of the National Film School of Ireland.
