Creed is a writer and filmmaker from Dublin, Ireland. She has written six screenplays and directed two of them. The Sun, Moon & Stars (1996) and Chaos/Deathgames (2001). Her experience in television production spans history and observational documentaries, current affairs, arts, social justice, entertainment and drama. Her most recent documentary Mercury 13 was commissioned by Netflix in 2018. She is currently developing a screenplay based on the documentary. In 2020, she participated in the WomenXBorders readathon at the Irish Writer’s Centre reading an extract from her first novel Truth Comes Dropping Slow. The project was selected for the Curtis Brown CBC Breakthrough Mentoring Programme in the same year and in 2023 it was one of the winners at the Irish Writer’s Centre Novel Fair. Her latest short story appears in the Jan 24 edition of Epoque Press e-zine ‘Desire’. In May 2024 her screenplay Want was a semifinalist in the International Script Lab Screenplay contest.
