David is best known for his feature film The Last of the High Kings (Miramax), starring Jared Leto, Gabriel Byrne and Christina Ricci which he wrote and directed. He also continues to direct theatre, film documentaries, TV drama and music videos (in the past). His screenwriting includes H for Columbia pictures and a writing credit for his work on Mike Newell’s Into the West (Miramax).

He is a script advisor on the Moonstone, MAISHA, and Equinoxe Screenwriter workshops, and has lectured and moderated seminars on screenwriting and related obsessions at the University of Bonn, the University of Mainz, and at the National University of Ireland, Huston School of Film and Digital Media among others. He’s also a dance fan and an enthusiastic but pretty hopeless surfer.
