Kieron originally studied Fine Art sculpture in Dun Laoghaire school of Art and Design. He subsequently received a British Council scholarship to study film at the Royal College of Art in London. His graduation films Goodbye Piccadilly and Bossanova Blues won numerous international prizes and since then he has directed award-winning films for the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Granada and RTÉ including the hit Series The Young Person’s Guide To Becoming A Rockstar and his first Feature When Brendan Met Trudy written by Roddy Doyle. He also directed a film for the acclaimed Beckett on Film Series.

In 2005 he set up BL!NDER, a commercials company and in early 2006 he founded BL!NDER FILMS to develop and produce drama and documentary for a domestic and international audience. Kieron recently devised and directed The Savage Eye Series One and Two, a comedy sketch show for RTÉ starring David McSavage and Pat McDonnell. His business partner Katie Holly and Kieron both produced Tom Hall’s Sensation which will be released in November 2011. He has also just finished directing the feature film Jump which is due for release for 2012.

He has also directed award-winning commercials for Guinness, Smithwicks, Lotto, Kelloggs and many others.
