Leticia Agudo is a screen writer and director. She first directed theatre in Ireland, after studying drama at Queen Mary University in London and Theatre Directing at UEA. She later took a Masters in Film Production at TU Dublin to fulfil her inclination towards visual storytelling. She first wrote and directed documentaries, returning to drama in 2015.

In 2023 her feature script CASA de SULLIVAN won Outstanding Achievement in Writing at the International Screenwriting Competition and was nominated for Best Feature Length Screenplay at the Women’s Comedy Film Festival in Atlanta. The film is now being co-developed with Spain. She has two other features and a series in development.

With the support of the Arts Council of Ireland, she wrote and directed REMOTE, an online anthology of shorts available on You Tube. Her previous shorts have won awards at home and abroad. She also develops and writes animation for her company Whackala.
